The Brighton Girls Lacrosse Executive Board is thrilled to announce the hiring of Melissa Nash as the new Head Varsity Coach for the Brighton High School Girls Lacrosse Team.
The Brighton Girls Lacrosse Executive Board is thrilled to announce Tracy Pati has been hired as our new Varsity Assistant Coach. Tracy started playing lacrosse in 2006. She attended Murray High School and helped the Spartans win the state championship in 2008 and come in second in the 2009 state tournament. She was a member of the Rocky Mountain Region National Lacrosse team in 2008 and traveled to Maryland to compete with a select team. After high school, she attended the University of Utah and was a member of the inaugural Utah Women’s Lacrosse team, which started it’s first spring season in 2011. That year Tracy made the 3rd Team All-Conference Rocky Mountain Women’s Lacrosse League team. Her coaches and teammates elected her to be a captain from 2012-2014 and they came in 1st place in the regional tournament those three years, placing second in the nation in 2013. Tracy has been active in the lacrosse community in Utah as an official of the women’s game since 2009. She spent a year living in Northern California continuing to officiate in the Bay Area, and returned at the end of 2015 as an assistant coach at the University of Utah. In the spring of 2016, Tracy became the head coach of the WCLA Division II Utah Women’s Lacrosse team at the University of Utah and led the team to win the regional championship and then on to the national championship game in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She returned as head coach in 2017 and was awarded the WCLA 2017 Division II Coach of the Year Award for her dedication and commitment to the success of the program at the University of Utah. Tracy has also coached locally with the Mamaci club “Red” team, and is looking forward to getting further involved at the high school level at Brighton High School in 2018. She believes in team building and creating a positive culture and focuses on giving players tools to succeed both on the field and in life outside of lacrosse.
The Intermountain Lacrosse Youth League for girls K-8th Grade begins August 14, 2017. Make sure to register before then to avoid late registration fees! Practices begin August 21, 2017. Games begin September 9, 2017.
The Fall Parents Meeting for Brighton High School Girls Lacrosse will be held October 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM at The Corporate Alliance Center - 7730 S Union Park Ave # 150, Midvale, UT 84047 (Next to the Cinemark Theatre)

The Super 7's fall league for high school
girls begins in early September.
